All brochure images from the collection of Mark J. McCourt
Cadillac themselves chose to recall the glamorous Eldorados of the big-fin era with the foldout brochure they handed out during the 1998 New York International Auto Show. This double-sided piece had five panels and a tear-off card that prospective buyers could mail to Cadillac to request more information. The images and information regarding the 1998 Eldorado models were all well and good, but it was what covered the reverse side of the brochure that stopped traffic.
Opening up to a full 40 inches long, this fabulous image was designed by Thom Sandberg of The Kenyon Consortium; the photograph was taken by Mark Lafavor and Scott McCulley of Parallel Productions. The era-perfect model, Melissa Pizarro, was styled by Janet Gridley, with hair and makeup by Mary Porter. And that arresting yellow scarf that trails all the way to the tip of the 1960 Eldorado Biarritz convertible’s distinctive dual-bead molding-trimmed fender...
Made one myself 5' X12" that looks Beautiful
